BI-FIT™
BI-FIT™ is a superior functional alternative to traditional paper based insole boards and more cost effective than die-cut TPU insole products
Bi-Fit™ is prepared via a patented manufacturing process where a single or dual hardness PE (softer) or PP (harder) plastic is extruded to create a flexible forepart and a rigid back part in one easy part
A spun non woven fabric is attached to the PE and PP plastic in the extrusion sheet process, creating a permanent bond, while promoting easy cementing in any shoe manufacturing process
Bi-Fit™ is an eco-friendly sustainable product as it is made using 80 percent post consumer recycled PE or PP plastic
Since Bi-Fit™ is made of PE or PP plastic, it is therefore waterproof (a benefit for active and outdoor sports)
BI-FIT™ – for DIE-CUT applications:
- Thin versions (under 2mm) can be used in strobel stitch constructions
- Bi-Fit™ sheets available in thicknesses from 1.25mm – 6mm (single or dual density) PE or PP plastic
- Available sheet sizes: 35cm x 110cm or 45cm x 110cm
- 35cm x 110cm yield: single density = 7 pairs/ dual density = 5.5 – 6 pairs
- 45cm x 110cm yield: single density only = 10 pairs
- Cushioning foams can be attached to Bi-Fit™
- Single color print can be added to spun non woven cover or backer
- Water proof backer or cover available
- Shanks or Toe stabilizers can be die-cut, in addition to traditional insoles

BI-FIT™ – for MOLDED applications:
- Molded Bi-Fit™ is compression molded. Sheets are heated to 120c-150c then put into a cold mold
- Bi-Fit™ can be molded with flex bars to increase flexibility, and I-Beams to increase rigidity
- Bi-Fit™ can be molded with cavities to take added cushioning or parts, or with cut-aways for co-molded or post applied parts
- Cushioning foams can be attached after molding, or poured PU can be co-molded with Bi-Fit™
- Single color print or logo can be aded to spun non woven cover or backer
- Waterproof cover or backer available
- Bi-Fit™ molds can be blocker in the forepart allowing 1 mold for 3 half sizes
